HEDS UP Pilot Program

The HEDS UP Pilot Program aims to evaluate the functionality, usability, and overall effectiveness of the HEDS UP device in real-world snowmobiling conditions. The program timeline includes an application period from October 24th to November 24th, with selected participants announced on December 24th. The program outline is as follows

Phase 1: Recruitment of Volunteers
The program seeks 100 snowmobile enthusiasts who will each be givin a FREE Heds Up Unit in exchange for detailed feedback. Volunteers must own or have access to a snowmobile, have a smartphone or laptop, commit to the entire season, and regularly ride in groups of 2-4.

Phase 2: Orientation and Training
An online orientation will explain the program and device usage, supported by a user manual, quick-start guide, and video tutorials. A private Facebook group will be established hosting all participants where members can ask and answer peer questions and discuss the program.

Phase 3: Testing Protocol
Volunteers will test the device over one snowmobiling season, completing at least six rides and an online questionnaire after each ride to provide data on device performance, user experience, and overall satisfaction.

Phase 4: Data Analysis and Feedback
Collected data will be analyzed for patterns and trends, followed by a feedback session with volunteers to gather in-depth insights. The opportunity if a 1 on 1 meeting with our founders will be provided to each participant for a more in-depth discussion, but will not be mandatory.

Phase 5: Reporting and Adjustments
A final report will summarize findings, and necessary adjustments will be made to the HEDS UP device based on feedback. A follow-up survey may be conducted post-adjustment.

The initiative aims to refine the HEDS UP device through systematic testing and user feedback, enhancing safety for snowmobiling enthusiasts without sacrificing riding style and the natural exhilaration of the sport.
